Celebrating Food Allergy Awareness

  • Home

Our tree is decked in shades of teal because it is the National Food Allergy Awareness Color.

The 32 ornaments on the tree symbolize the 32 million Americans who have food allergies.

The 200 utensils represent the 200,000 Americans who need emergency care each year due to food allergies.

The 25 bows represent the $25 billion American families spend each year caring for children with food allergies.

The red sneakers at the top of our tree remembers one of our food allergy angels, Oakley Debbs. Red Sneakers for Oakley is a national organization that uses red sneakers (Oakley’s favorite) to promote education and awareness of food allergies.
